Finding the Name of Your PC
For Windows

Open the Settings App
- Click on the Start menu and select Settings (the gear icon).

Go to System
- In the Settings window, click on System.

Select About
- Scroll down and select About from the left-hand menu.

View Device Name
- Under Device specifications, you will see the Device name. This is the name of your PC.
Using the Control Panel

Open Control Panel
- Type Control Panel in the search bar next to the Start menu and select it.

Go to System and Security
- Click on System and Security.

Select System
- Click on System. You will see the Computer name under the section labeled Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings.
Using Command Prompt

Open Command Prompt
- Type cmd in the search bar next to the Start menu and select Command Prompt.

Enter the Command

hostnameand press Enter. The name of your PC will be displayed.
